Teachers love learning

Teachers from all over the state have been taking advantage of LandLearn Professional Development sessions during a very busy October.

A range of full day and half-day sessions were organised by LandLearn staff to give teachers some ideas on how to integrate natural resource management, sustainable agriculture and food into their curriculum.

Most of these sessions were run in partnership with other programs in the area, which gave teachers a snapshot of the range of programs available in their regions and the sorts of assistance that is available to schools to develop ongoing holistic programs in the curriculum.

LandLearn would like to thank DSE / DPI education staff, North Central CMA and local government staff for their contributions to these successful teacher professional development sessions.

"Loved the hands on activities - even bought the CD!"
Teacher Buxton PS

"Very good, varied activities that stimulated new ideas for me - I will particularly use them in the field"
Teacher Cohuna SC

"I loved the relaxed approach of the delivery - the LandLearn staff were very approachable, warm and friendly - my staff really enjoyed the presentation thanks very much"
St Mary's PS Alexandra
