Learning in the Garden

Supporting teachers to integrate edible gardens and vegie patches into schools curriculum.

Friday 20th November — Narrawong, Thornbill Organic Farm 207 Blackers Road, Narrawong (10.00am - 3.30pm).

Tuesday 10th November — Port Phillip EcoCentre, Cnr Herbert and Blessington Streets, St Kilda (10.00am - 3.30pm)


Connecting to the Land
Exploring our connection to the land through the food we eat and grow, as land managers, consumers and decision makers. This session includes an introduction to 'Biodiversity Up Close' a teaching and learning resource to undertake simple biodiversity audits of your school grounds.


Food for the Future
Providing hands-on curriculum linked resources and ideas exploring how food availability and farming decisions are affected by climate change and other influences.
